Payment Information

What forms of payment do you accept?
Our site offers you a safe , private and secure shopping facility. For your convenience, there are several payment options you can choose from. You may choose to pay for your gift by credit card, electronic transfer, money order or bank deposit. If you choose to pay by credit card using our CamTech secure banking system, your payment will be processed on-line. If you choose to fax or
e-mail your order, we will contact you to confirm the payment option that suits you best. For more detailed information see our Payment Options.

Is sending my credit card details via the internet safe?
Making a payment with your credit card via the internet is as safe as paying for a purchase in a shopping mall. Our website offers Secure Socker Layer (SSL 128Bit) security for entering your personal and payment details. SSL ensures that your information is encrypted and cannot be read by any unauthorized party.

We also use the CamTech secure encrypted on-line e-commerce banking system which is approved by Australian banks. To make our site even more secure, we have firewalls installed to block unauthorized traffic to our servers.

Deliveries and Returns

Is there a delivery charge?
Yes – delivery charges are added at the checkout stage of your order by selecting the nominated delivery location. All prices are in AUD$ and include GST. For more detailed information see our Delivery Information.

When will my gift be delivered?
Delivery times vary according to location, please click on Delivery Information for more details about locations and delivery times. We also make special deliveries if required. Contact us if you need a special delivery outside of normal working hours.

Do you accept International Orders?
Yes – please contact us to discuss your requirements and the delivery costs.

Do you delivery to Post Boxes or RMBs?
No – we do not delivery to Post Boxes.
Yes – we do delivery to Rural Mail Boxes.

What is your policy for returning items?
All our Gift Hampers are carefully packaged and delivered by reputable postal and courier services. Once a gift has been delivered and signed for, it ceases to be the responsibility of our company. However, should a gift arrive excessively damaged or in faulty working order, Gifts On The Hop will assess the possibility for replacement. Any item found to be damaged or faulty must be reported to us within 2 days of receipt of the gift.

What if there is no-one there to receive the gift?
If re-delivery is required due to the recipient being unavailable to accept the goods, a second delivery charge will apply.

Gift Items

Can I add items to the gift hamper?
Yes – our website gives you the option to add several items to your choice of gift. Perhaps you would like to personalize your gift by adding something special like a bottle of good wine, fine chocolates or a cuddly bear. See our gift selection for more information.

Can I have a gift hamper specially made up?
Yes, - if you don’t find a hamper that suits you, please feel free to contact us with your special requirements and we can put together exactly what you want. We promise to give you a customised quote within 24 hours of your query.

Do you sell gifts containing alcohol?
Yes – we do sell gifts containing alcohol and there are strict laws which we adhere to. Under the Liquor Act of 1982 it is an offence to sell, supply or to obtain liquor on behalf of a person under the age of 18. All gift hampers containing liquor must be purchased by someone over the age of 18 and must be signed for by a person over 18 years of age. A gift hamper containing alcohol cannot be delivered to an address unless someone over the age of 18 is there to sign for and receive it.

Can I order more than one gift hamper at a time?
Yes – can order as many hampers as you like. By clicking on the add to cart button, the gift you selected is placed in your shopping cart. You can continue to shop and add more gift hampers to the cart, or perhaps you would like to personalize your gift by adding something special like a bottle of good wine, fine chocolates or a cuddly bear.

It is important to note that delivery costs cover delivery to one address. If more than one gift hamper is ordered for the same address, the first hamper incurs the standard delivery rate while the further hampers are delivered at a well reduced and discounted rate.

Can I send gift hampers to more than one address?
Yes – you can send gift hampers to more than one address. Please advise us of the correct delivery details for each hamper in the comments box of your order form. If you choose to process your order on-line and pay with your credit card via our CamTech secure banking system, our site will calculate the delivery charge for the first gift hamper delivery address, and we will contact you to confirm and arrange payment for the other gift hamper delivery charges. If you choose to fax or e-mail your order to us, we will contact you to confirm the delivery charges for each gift hamper and each address.

Privacy

What if I no longer want to receive your email newsletter?
You may choose to unsubscribe from promotional material at any time. You may do this via our website, by email or by writing to us.

Will my personal details remain private?
Yes - All information we collect from you is strictly confidential. We understand that your privacy is very important and respect your right to protect it.
